The Legal Aid statistics for England and Wales published by the Ministry of Justice revealed figures that Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings (MIAMs) decreased by 20% between April and June 2020 compared to 2019.

Is this because people are able to have discussions regarding settlements between themselves, or is it because people are waiting for the lockdown curtain to rise to make their next step…?
