It’s Remember a Charity Week!
It runs from 08-14.09.2025, and it is finally here.
“Remember a Charity Week is an opportunity for everyone to take a moment to consider leaving a gift to charity in their Will, after looking after family and friends.”
Remember A Charity Week is a registered charity which launched in 2000 to encourage people to leave a gift to charity in their Will:
“Gifts in Wills are vital for most charities. Despite this, many people aren’t even aware of this form of giving. Our goal is to change that.”
We, at Penn Group, want to ensure that people are aware of the gifts that they can leave within their Wills.
What Is The Goal?
· Raise awareness about how leaving a charitable gift in a Will can make a lasting impact
· Challenge the misconception that only “wealthy” people can leave legacies
· Encourage more people to take action by writing or updating their Wills
· Support charities by helping them receive long term and sustainable funding through legacy gifting
Did You Know?
· Gifts in Wills raise over £3 billion a year for UK charities
· Even a small gift can make a huge difference to the work charities do for future generations
· Gifts in Wills are one of the most valuable sources of income for many charities
How Can You Get Involved?
· Prepare or update your Will, and consider a gift to charity
· Spread the word! Talk to family and friends about Wills and ensuring their wishes are protected
What We Are Offering
Therefore, in support of Remember a Charity Week, we are offering free Will review calls to anyone that has a Will in place, but is unsure if it still works and meets their needs.
We are also offering discounted rates to those that wish to either prepare or update their Wil; during the month of September 2025, again, in support of Remember a Charity Week.
