Wills & Probate | Inheritance Advance and IHT Loan

Updated: Aug 8, 2023

We have recently formed a partnership with Tower Street Finance to be able to make the lives of the probate clients of Penn Chambers Solicitors easier and less stressful when they are already going through so much.

When the lovely team of Tower Street Finance approached me to talk about what the partnership means and how their products help our probate clients, how they solve problems, I happily agreed.

We caught up with Emma Aslett who is a legal consultant at Penn Chambers Solicitors about its recent partnership with us…

What do you think about Inheritance Advance and our newly launched IHT Loan?

Both products are easily accessible and the procedure is relatively straightforward.

Anything that can make the difficult time for executors and beneficiaries less challenging must be a good thing.

Because the Inheritance Advance is repaid from the inheritance, and the IHT Loan similarly is repaid from estate funds when they ultimately become available, it means there in no stress or worry about credit histories, charges over properties, no monthly repayments and so on.

What made you decide to partner with Tower Street Finance?

Tower Street Finance made it so easy for us to partner with them.

The products are highly beneficial to clients and can make the whole process much less stressful. There is also no risk for the client – if another will or beneficiary emerges, assets take long to sell, or sell for less than anticipated, or another debt is discovered Tower Street Finance take on that risk.

How can the products help your clients?

For Inheritance Advance simply put, there’s no ‘waiting game’. The products could help all clients – especially those beneficiaries who want to access their inheritance sooner rather than later.

I recently found out through Tower Street Finance that 1 in 3 UK adults are relying on an inheritance.

They can now access their funds quickly rather than waiting over 12 months – time which is only increasing due to the pressures the Covid-19 pandemic has placed on the probate registries.

How have your clients reacted to the offering?

Clients have reacted well. Particularly for those that may be struggling, especially during the current climate, Tower Street Finance has been able to reduce their financial woes.
