This year's Remember a Charity Week was held in the second week of September 2025; however, remembering a charity in your will is always a good idea.

“Remember a Charity Week is an opportunity for everyone to take a moment to consider leaving a gift to charity in their Will, after looking after family and friends.”

Remember A Charity Week is a registered charity which launched in 2000 to encourage people to leave a gift to charity in their Will:

“Gifts in Wills are vital for most charities. Despite this, many people aren’t even aware of this form of giving. Our goal is to change that.”

We, at Penn Group, want to ensure that people are aware of the gifts that they can leave within their Wills.

Did You Know?

  • 1 in 3 people who make a Will through a lawyer now leave a gift to charity.

  • Even a small cash gift from your estate left to charity in your Will can make a huge difference.

  • If you pass away without a Will, the law decides who inherits from your estate.

Charitable legacy funds 6 out of 10 lifeboat launches and support everything from medical research to mental health services.

Your Will is your voice for the future and gives you the chance to make a difference beyond your lifetime.

How To Leave A Gift To A Charity?

Remember A Charity Week is over for this year, and so are our offers, but we are always here for you if you would like to have a chat about your situation and the options available to you. Thinking about causes close to your heart to be included in your Will, it is not limited to that one week in September, and it can be done year-round.

Leaving a gift to charity in your Will does not mean you have to choose between loved ones and good causes – you can do both. These gifts, known as legacies, provide crucial support for charities, helping them continue their work in healthcare, education, conservation, animal welfare, and so much more.

It’s simple. It’s impactful. It’s something you can do right now.

We are making it easy to plan your legacy.

Contact us to write or update your Will. It is the perfect opportunity to take that important step whilst also considering the lasting difference you could make to a charity close to your heart.
